Ocean Early Childhood Center
We are entering our 55th year and have been leaders in the field of Early Childhood Education since we opened our doors. OECC is a privately owned, non-sectarian, non-denominational school. We are licensed through the State of NJ and are a 4 Star Rated program through Grow NJ Kids. We serve children 4 months to 5 years of age; and a before and after care program for children up to 5th grade. OECC offers a certified staff with over 100 years combined experience dedicated to providing a sound educational program.
Our teachers have a special way of making learning fun, finding joy in every day, and enhancing the best in everyone. We are proud to announce that many of our certified staff members have been with Ocean Early for more than a decade – so we not only offer competent teachers, we also offer stability and experience! Our programs, as well as our facility, have been continuously updated to meet the demands of the community. Over the past 55 years many children have passed through our doors and left with what we believe to be a fine foundation to continue their education. We in turn have many beautiful memories and experiences.

LearnPreschool programs help children learn through play and activities. Through play-based learning, children build thinking, language, physical, social, self-regulation and problem-solving skills.

ExplorePreschool children are driven to explore their world. This curiosity is the basis for learning, now and throughout their lives. Children at play are little scientists. They answer for themselves basic questions about how the world works, whether they are playing with sand or water, sculpting with clay or painting, or climbing on playground equipment.

GrowIt takes work and effort to train our brains to value progress over perfection. Thankfully the brains of preschoolers are incredibly malleable and resilient. Our main goal is to focus on growth mindset and cognitive flexibility.

This year my four year old started their pre-k program while my older kids still go each year to the camp (and my four year old will this summer, too!). When looking for a school for my little one, communication and updates are so important to me. Each day I get pictures and videos and written updates about the whole day, which makes it so easy to engage with her when she gets home about all of the things she did! |

The best summer camp ever not only do they have an Olympic size pool the kids get to enjoy the pool three times a day every day there is a different activity every Wednesday there is a trip, Pizza Day, Christmas in July, Halloween, etc. Definitely excited every year come summer! |
